This section is mandated to organize sports and games activities in the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. There is sports committee that in consultation with the Sports Tutor, organizes and co-ordinates all student sports activities. The members of the committee are the captains of the various sports teams. The Chairperson of the Committee is elected by the Sports team captains. The section offers the following disciplines for both men and women;

Men Sports

Basketball, Rugby, Football, Volleyball, Scrabble, Hockey, Badminton, Karate, Lawn Tennis, Chess, and Table Tennis.

Women Sports

Basket Ball, Rugby, Football, Volleyball, Scrabble, Hockey, Badminton, Karate, Lawn Tennis, Chess, Netball and Table Tennis.

Sports Seminars and Workshops

The section organizes seminars for sports management, training and sports leadership. It also emphasizes on sports as a tool for community service and peace building.

CUEA has a wide sports infrastructure for most of the recreation and competition needs. These include and are not limited to;
