IRID finally launches the M.A. program in Regional Integration

In January 2015, IRID welcomed the first batch of students for the Master of Arts program in Regional Integration. Since then, the Institute has admitted more students into the program. IRID students are drawn from Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania, and from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. The Masters program is hosted at the CUEA City Campus.

In May 2015, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) agreed to a four-year partnership with the Institute to provide scholarships to students enrolled in IRID’s Master of Arts program in Regional Integration. In its communication, DAAD agreed, in principle, to provide up to four (4) scholarships to the University for the M.A. in Regional Integration, offered by its Institute for Regional Integration and Development (IRID). In 2015, DAAD has awarded 3 scholarships to our prospective students. DAAD will once again, award scholarship to our prospective students this year. We are grateful to DAAD for supporting our M.A. program.
