The Catholic University of Eastern Africa class of 2013/2014 held their finalist dinner on 26th April 2014 at the Panari Hotel. The purpose of the dinner was to bring together all finalists and give thanks to God for their presence and good life at the University.

The Deputy Dean of Students Sr. Dr. Lucy Kamaro said that it was the time to appreciate talents in diversity so as to make the world a better place to live in as diversity makes the world beautiful.

β€˜β€˜It is not because of our favor to be at the Catholic University but Gods, therefore, it is the moment to thank God.” said Mr. Maina the Dean of Students. For your future, he said, it is also important to understand your history and by doing so that you should know the choices and decisions to make in life. The greatest challenge in life is not success but humility you have.”

In his remarks the guest speaker Mr. Johnston Mwakazi said that in life as an individual you should have own principles and instructions for you to succeed. He added that the present life you live should have an impact in the environment. The principles are; time management, excellence in performance and value addition. The instructions include; never be late, never forget who you are talking to, apologize quickly, speak what you know and answer the question asked.

The dinner was also attended by; Bro. Dr. Ocbamariam Bekit, DVC Finance; Mr. Cyril Papa, the Ag. Corporate communication manager; The Catholic University of Eastern Africa Students Organization (CUEASO) officials; CUEA students and CUEA staff members
